Coffee surprise for Easter

Mr. Werner knows: Responsibly traded coffee not only enhances the Easter nest, but also improves the working and quality of life of the coffee farmers in the growing region.

Just in time for the big spring festival, Mr Werner returned from one of his expeditions and filled his drum roaster. He brought the finest Robusta beans from the south-west of Uganda to the Salzburg region to gently roast them with perfect precision.

What makes these Robusta beans special? They grow at an altitude of between 1,600 and 1,850 meters, which is unusually high for a Robusta, which normally thrives at lower altitudes (around 800 meters). But the altitude allows an extraordinary range of aromas to develop, and the beans are hand-picked and sun-dried. Mr. Werner is particularly pleased to be able to process these extraordinary treasures in his roastery. With the greatest care, he conjures up aromas of nougat or cocoa that go perfectly in the Easter nest . The Easter Bunny might even stop by for a cup of Easter roast.
